The March of the Old Gods
Bharuk Khaznir was the 3rd city to be added to the growing Dwarven kingdom of old, and stands as a crossroads for the underground roads. Continuing straight onwards leads to Virnturum, and going left or right leads out towards the surface.
Bharuk Khaznir, like the rest of the Dwarven cities, with the exception of Thorfaldur, is ruled by a council of lords that answer to the king, but are left to manage everyday goings on in the city. Bharuk Khaznir is the main weapons producer of the Dwarven kingdoms, supplying most of the dwarven armies with weapons and armor. The hall of forges extends for nearly a mile underground, and is in use 24/7, producing not only arms and equipment, but also fine art, such as jewelry, sculptures, mosaics, and other works of fine art.
Bharuk Khaznir also has extensive mines that branch out deep into the mountain, with quite a few located on the surface itself. Such mines produce roughly half of the ore that is exported by the Dwarves, and almost all of the ore that is refined and made into weapons, armor, art, and other crafts comes from the mines.
