The March of the Old Gods
Thaghrahm is the closest Dwarven city to Thorfaldur, and the second Dwarven city to be founded. Thaghrahm is ruled by a council of lords that ultimately answers to King Drogan, but is largely independent as far as everyday legislation goes. The only time the King is consulted is during times of war, and when a new threat emerges that has never been seen before.
Thaghrahm specializes in producing food to feed the rest of the kingdom, mostly in the form of pigs, and special fungi that are bred specifically for consumption. It is extremely efficient, as it stays edible for long periods of time, and fills the stomach with small amounts, but as a tradeoff, it is very tough and bland, so the Dwarves must rely on the outside world for spices and more exotic foods.
Thaghrahm is home to the Deathless, a company of Dwarven warriors that dedicate their lives to the Dwarven cities, regardless of who leads them. They dedicate themselves to fighting whatever threats emerge from the depths of the mountains, and destroying them at all costs.
